CORKAGE FEE WAIVED WITH PASADENA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU’S “BRING YOUR OWN WINE WEDNESDAYS”
PASADENA
, Calif.
–
Wednesdays are meant for wine. With the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau’s
Bring Your Own Wine Wednesdays (BYOW Wednesdays)
diners can take their own bottles of wine to participating Pasadena restaurants and the restaurants will waive the corkage fee.
Every Wednesday now through August 31, 2011, wine lovers can take one or more bottles of wine to the following 14 participating restaurants:
- Beckham Grill
- Bar Celona
- Café Bizou
- Celestino Ristorante
- El Cholo
- Elements Kitchen
- Green Street Tavern
- IX Tapa Cantina
- Japon Bistro
- Maison Akira
- Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
- Technique Restaurant
- The Terrace at The Langham Huntington
- Villa Sorriso
The BYOW Wednesdays program, now in its second year, was developed by the Pasadena CVB to drive more business to Pasadena’s restaurants during the often slower mid-week period.
“This program gives diners an extra incentive to experience Pasadena’s amazing array of restaurants,” said Michael Ross, CEO, Pasadena Center Operating Company, the organization that oversees the Pasadena CVB. “By waiving the corkage fee, these marketing savvy restaurants are enticing new and returning customers to enjoy a meal and some good wine on a night when many traditionally stay home for dinner.”
