Pacific Asia Museum
is pleased to announce its third season of Fusion Fridays, its summer evening series that mixes art in the galleries, interactive experiences, live performances and food and drinks in the courtyard, all within the museum's iconic building.This year's Fusion Fridays will be May 18, June 15, July 20 and August 17 from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and are free to members and $15 for nonmembers.

Americafest 2012

The 86th Annual 4th of July Celebration at the Rose Bowl will take place on July 4 at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The day-long event will start at 2 p.m. outside the stadium with the Family Fun Zone which features food vendors, entertainment, crafts, exhibits and inflatable rides for the kids. Food will be available for sale inside the stadium after the gates open at 6:30 p.m. The "Americafest" celebration ends with the biggest and best fireworks show in Southern California.

Gran Fondo d' Italia
will be held in Pasadena on July 21 and 22, 2012. Gran Fondos are long distance, mass-start cycling events that have become a tradition in Italy. Participation in the Pasadena event will be open to recreational and competitive amateur cyclists of all abilities. The ride will begin and end at Pasadena City Hall on July 22. Choose from three courses ranging from 25 to 83 miles. The expo, offering Italian merchandise, food and entertainment, will also be held at City Hall.

The new
Pasadena Ice Skating Center
is now open, just off Euclid Ave. at the Pasadena Convention Center. The $3 million facility features a regulation rink, new dasher boards, team bench area, four team locker rooms, two party rooms, and spectator seating for 180.
